I am consistently curious and believe that knowledge and information is powerful. I went through a season where I studied and read a lot. What I learned from this season of study, among other things, is that "doing and failing" should make up a larger part of your learning experience than studies alone. So, although I am still reading and studding a lot, I have shifted my focus to doing.
- My awareness of how little I know becomes more prominent, the more I learn.
I use many bits of tech every day as I need them. There are simply too many to mention in a list, but hopefully this gives you some idea of the stack I normally reach for when building full stack web applications.
Gideon is a highly experienced software engineer and leader who is pedantic about software practices and ethics. He is not afraid of critically analysing existing business practices with the aim of improving them for the benefit of the organization as a whole. Did I mention that he is a brilliant graphics designer?
Gideon and I worked on a proof of concept team project which formed an important part of our BSc Honss degree. From the outset, he impressed everyone with his knowledge, skills and leadership qualities and was therefore elected to be the Team Leader. He has shown himself to be extremely hard-working and highly effective throughout - with his consistent track record of gaining exceptional grades on all his assessments a testament to that. His expertise, strategic vision and dedication would be valuable to any project.
I had the pleasure of working with Gideon as the owner of Status Marketing, and he is an overall expert in technology, assisting with setting up all the technology for my business and leading a team. Gideon would be an asset to any company needing these skills.
You rarely come across a wealth of knowledge like Gideon. I had the pleasure of working with Gideon for several years at Sabinet, and we remain good friends and collaborators. We often brainstorm and exchange ideas on leadership, Agile, project management and other thought-provoking topics in the Digital Sector. As a team member or a leader, Gideon earns my highest recommendation.
